Why on god’s green earth is just that tiny piece with the hippos on the only bit in the whole of Africa in hi-res?!?!?

  6. 6. Alex says:

The hippos are part of the National Geographic Mega Flyover project, that was originally part of Google Earth. I assume now that we have Earth images in Local, the mega flyover images came too. They’re super-cool in local - and unbelievably cool in GE!

Lots more out there for people to find too!

As part of the megaflyover Placemark: here’s over one thousand black lechwe / Google Earth.
