Just in case you missed this when it did the rounds in October, here’s some hills in Canada which seem to resemble… well, I’d be hard pushed not to admit that this does look an awful lot like a Native American, listening to an iPod.

Did you see the series of roads to the south that branch off and lead to an unknown hole/structure which the road circles?
In Canada, aboriginal persons are called “First Nations people” in recognition of the fact that they 1) pre-dated settlement by Caucasians and 2) were made up of sovereign nations, not loose groups of individuals. So what we have here is most definitely *not* a “Native American” (refers to aboriginal peoples from the U.S. only) but rather a “First Nations person”.
Haha - Very cool. Since this is in Canada - the correct term for our indiginous people would be different. Aboriginal Indian or Aboriginal Native?
This is right near where some of my family lives - would be a very cool spot to visit on my next trip!

So tribes are now called “nations”? Does that mean that the McDonald clan of Scotland is a nation?
“First Nations” is a politically correct term for “Native American” which is a politically correct term for “American Indian”
It’s all semantics and a way to make liberals feel good about themselves.
