I wonder how these girls feel about being half naked for all the world to see on Google Street View?

Does anyone know who they are?

Update: I’ve just realised that for most of these Street View sights, you can move down the street a little and change your perspective on things.

Giant Lady Leg Sundial

Here at the Sun Aura resort in Indiana, they have just what you’ve always wanted – a 19 metre (63 foot) long sundial, in the shape of a lady’s naked leg. Classy!

And for what reason? Well, Sun Aura is a “clothing optional” holiday camp, and presumably a giant sundial is a useful feature for wristwatchless nudists… Which means there must be some naked people around here somewhere!

Thanks to Ken.

Written on a old pier, just off Manhattan island, are these two pieces of, um, “word art”.

The left hand piece seems to say “SUCK D**K” while the other item looks like the rather confusing “F**K ME SAFE”. What on earth does that mean?

Yes, there really is a place in Austria called Fucking. In fact they liked the name so much, it seems that they also have several Fucking roads. Which f**king road would you live on?

Update: Welcome Boingboingers! We’ve had lots more funny placenames in the comments here, and yet more at Boing Boing, and now somebody’s located this excellent list of interesting or unusual place names on Wikipedia (and yes, there’s rude ones in there too!)

Thanks to Chris and Nev.

Aliens have been trying to communicate with us puny humans for years now, usually via the confusing medium of drawing circles in Britain’s fields.

But a recent trend shows them branching out into more direct forms of communication with actual words being carved into our crops.

Of course they haven’t fully developed a grasp of our primitive languages, as seen in this example of childishly rude crop writing just beside Edinburgh Airport.

What, oh mighty alien lifeforms, are you trying to tell us?
